Neon, krypton, xenon are rare or noble gases and are found in very low concentrations in the environment
Noble gases and noble gas mixtures are mainly used as lamp filling gases and in laser technology, while krypton is a suitable filling gas for insulating windows.
Noble gases are also used for propulsion engines.
Another property is their unique ability to produce bright light, which can be in the form of a laser (neon / helium laser) or a light source (xenon).
